BERNULF (Çağrı Yıldırımer) was born in Ankara, Turkey, in 1999. He has always been a quiet child, and music has been his primary mode of communication. At a young age, he learned to play the baglama as a means to earn his own money. Later, he delved into the world of Ethnic-Organic House, experimenting with the Electro-Baglama as his instrument of choice. He believed that he could infuse the rebellious spirit of ghetto melodies into electronic music, leading him to focus exclusively on this genre. "ACYD" began DJing under the stage name in 2019. Later, they changed the stage name to "BERNULF".

 

After a while, synthesizers replaced the baglama, and BERNULF began producing deep and dark sounds along with melancholic melodies, all honed through the training he received. His first EP, titled "GO!", was released in 2023. BERNULF is a firm believer that quiet individuals often contend with a multitude of thoughts and emotions within their minds, and he demonstrates this belief through his high-tempo beats and intricate sound arrangements.

 

He holds the conviction that music is a purpose unto itself, and he strives to integrate it with various other creative domains. BERNULF engages in internal sound design for experimental videos and crafts bespoke soundscapes for games and movies.
